Subscription & Connection Issues
Find answers for every step, from your account to your server routes.
Check your plan status in the panel before reviewing your client configuration. If you have a connection issue, note the error message and what you’ve already tried; this is more useful than repeatedly reinstalling the client. Expand a question below to read the answer. For account-specific help, open a support ticket in the panel.
Account, Devices & Subscription Management
Learn how account access, plan status, and subscription settings differ so you can troubleshoot the right issue.
What information do I need to create an account?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password in the user panel, following the on-screen instructions, and keep your login details secure. Use a unique password and never share it together with your subscription link. Your account lets you manage plans, orders, clients, and support tickets. Creating an account does not activate a subscription; check your plan status in the panel before connecting. If you have trouble logging in, check your input method, capitalization, and saved username to avoid confusing one account or order with another.
Do I need to choose a new plan when I switch devices?
You can be online on any number of devices at the same time. When switching computers or other devices, sign in to the same account to get the client and subscription for that platform. You don’t need to choose a new plan just because you changed devices. Import the subscription and configure the connection separately on each device; settings won’t transfer automatically from your old device. Unlimited devices does not mean unlimited data, so keep an eye on your plan’s remaining allowance. If you stop using an old device, sign out, remove its subscription configuration, and check whether you should reset the subscription link to prevent further use of your data.
Can I keep using my existing subscription after renewing my plan?
Check the order result, plan status, and remaining data in the user panel, then update the subscription in your client. An old expiry date shown in the client doesn’t necessarily mean the order failed; the client may still be displaying a previously fetched configuration. If the subscription link in the panel hasn’t changed, try updating the existing subscription before deleting it. If the link was reset, import the current address shown in the panel. If you still can’t connect, note the panel status and client message and describe the issue in a support ticket. Don’t include your password or full subscription link.
What is a subscription link, and what should I do if it’s exposed?
A subscription link lets your client retrieve the server configuration associated with your account. Keep it secure like any other account credential. Don’t post it in public documents, screenshots, group chats, or online conversion tools, and don’t share client logs that contain the full address. If you think it has been exposed, check the subscription management section in the user panel and reset the link if that option is available. Then update the link on your devices and remove old configurations. If you can’t find the relevant option, request help through a support ticket. Changing your login password does not update the subscription link, so check it separately.
Client Import & Connection Troubleshooting
First check whether the configuration loads, then whether the server connects, and finally how the target app is routed.
Where can I get the client and subscription?
VPNXM supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. Open the Downloads section of the user panel and choose the client for your device. Sign in to get your subscription. Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux downloads are available after signing in; access to the iOS download section depends on having an active plan, as indicated in the panel. After installing the client, return to the panel to get and import your subscription. Downloading the client and getting connection access are separate steps: opening the client doesn’t mean your plan is active. If the expected option isn’t shown, check your sign-in status and selected platform, then follow the relevant guide.
No servers appear after I import my subscription. What should I check?
First, make sure you copied the subscription address from the user panel, not the panel’s page address in your browser. Check for accidental spaces, line breaks, or missing characters. Then confirm that your plan is active, you have data remaining, and your current network can reach the user panel. If the client reports a download error, note the exact message, check that your device’s date and time are correct, and try updating again. Don’t disable certificate verification to fix a download error. If the server list is still empty, import the current subscription from the panel and open a support ticket with the client name, device platform, and a redacted screenshot of the error.
How do I update my subscription link, and when should I import it again?
In your client, open subscription or configuration management, select the VPNXM configuration, and choose Update Subscription or Refresh Configuration. Wait for the update to finish, then check the server list. Updating fetches the configuration from the current address; it doesn’t renew your plan. If the subscription address was reset in the panel, refreshing the old address may not work. Copy the new address, import it again, and remove the old configuration if you no longer need it. Before updating, you may want to note your frequently used servers and custom settings. Clients handle local changes differently, so afterward check the selected configuration, routing mode, and connection status.
Why does an app still fail to open when websites work in my browser?
Your browser and apps may use different network routes. Check that the client’s system proxy is enabled, that the app’s routing rules include the app you’re trying to use, and that the app isn’t holding on to a session from before you connected. Try fully closing the app, connecting to a server, and opening it again. If your client offers global or system-tunnel mode, switch to it temporarily to check whether routing rules are the issue, then restore your usual settings. Also check whether other networking tools are competing for the proxy settings. If only a particular service reports an error, check its account, region, and platform requirements. A working browser connection doesn’t guarantee that every app will work.
Choosing a Region & Troubleshooting Peak Hours
Compare routes under the same conditions, separating local network issues from route performance and target service status.
Which regions are covered, and how should I choose a server?
VPNXM covers 100+ countries with 250+ routes. First check which regions your target service supports, then test performance on your local network. Geographic distance alone isn’t the deciding factor. Visit the servers page to review locations and route types, then choose a suitable route in your client. Lower latency doesn’t always mean faster downloads, and web browsing, video, and long-lived connections can have different requirements. Compare routes using the same device, network, and target service. Check page load times, session stability, and sustained transfers, changing one factor at a time so you can identify the cause of any difference.
What’s the difference between IEPL, relay, and direct routes?
These terms describe how a network route is set up, not a guarantee of speed. IEPL refers to a dedicated link. Relay routes use intermediate nodes, while direct routes take a more direct path to the destination. Actual performance also depends on your local provider, time of day, destination network, and the target service. Don’t judge a route by its name alone. Keep your device and target service the same while comparing routes, and try another route type if one doesn’t work well on your network. For more on the trade-offs between cost and performance, read our guide to choosing a service.
How can I tell whether peak-hour slowdowns are caused by my network or a server route?
Pause large downloads and cloud syncing, then check whether familiar websites are also slow when you’re not connected to a server. If they are, check your Wi-Fi signal, router, and local network. If local access is normal, keep the target service the same and try other routes in the same region or a different route type. For video issues, check whether buffering continues and whether the picture quality changes automatically; don’t rely on a speed test alone. When submitting a support ticket, include the time of the issue, your region, provider, client, route name, and target service. Mention which comparison tests worked normally to help narrow down the cause.
Can I access AI tools and streaming services on every route?
Check access directly with the service you want to use. AI and streaming platforms may base access on your exit region, account status, payment details, and their own policies. Routes in the same region can also behave differently. Connecting to VPNXM won’t change your membership benefits or replace the target platform’s account requirements. For AI tools, use a region and connection route suited to your needs. If you see an error, read the platform’s message to determine whether it points to a network issue or an account restriction. For video, troubleshoot buffering separately from content availability by region. A successful test once isn’t a guarantee of future access.
Plan Billing & Refund Requests
Review pricing, data rules, and order handling separately. Confirm the billing option before proceeding.
How much is a monthly plan, and how do data resets and upgrades work?
Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB · ¥18/month for 250GB · ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is calculated based on the remaining days. Check the plans page against your usual browsing, video, and file-transfer needs. Plan tiers aren’t device limits. Before upgrading, check your current plan and remaining allowance in the panel, then follow the checkout instructions for the price adjustment. Don’t substitute a calendar-month calculation or your own daily estimate for the amount shown in the panel. If you’re unsure how the upgrade will appear, ask through a support ticket before proceeding.
What’s the difference between a data package and a monthly plan?
Data packages: ¥158 for 300GB · ¥358 for 1000GB · ¥658 for 3000GB. Data is deducted as you use it, and the package never expires. Monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date; package data is deducted based on actual usage, so the monthly reset rule doesn’t apply. Consider whether your usage is regular and whether you prefer a monthly budget. If you already have another plan, read the order details in the panel before adding or changing your billing option, and check how your current subscription will be handled. Don’t assume plans stack, switch automatically, or share remaining data. If the panel’s instructions aren’t clear, ask through a support ticket first.
Which payment methods are supported, and what if my plan status doesn’t update after payment?
VPNXM supports Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Create an order through the user panel and pay using the method shown at checkout. Don’t use payment details forwarded by someone else. After paying, return to the panel to check your order and plan status. If the status hasn’t changed, make sure you’re viewing the order for the right account, confirm that payment succeeded, and refresh the page if needed. Don’t pay again just because the result hasn’t appeared yet. If you need help, submit a support ticket with your order details and a redacted payment receipt, keeping only necessary information such as the amount and status. Don’t include your password, full subscription link, or unrelated payment details.
How do I request a refund, and what should I prepare?
VPNXM offers a 60-day, no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel, open a support ticket with your refund request and order details, and review the full refund terms in the Terms of Service. Include the order information from your panel to help us identify the correct order. If you’re also having connection issues, add the client name and error message so the support team has context. Don’t post payment receipts, passwords, or subscription links in public comments or group chats. Follow up in the same ticket; the order record and ticket response show the refund status. Payment processing times are separate from whether your request has been received.
